Smita Urmila Rajmane received a Govt. Diploma of Arts in 2011 from Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune. She is currently, in 2016, completing a Masters of Fine Arts in the Department of Art, Design, and Performing Arts from Shiv Nadar University, with her final MFA solo exhibition at Kiran Nadar Museum in Delhi. She participated in a residency at Peers Khoj International Artists’ Association in May 2016. She participated from Pune region in Rethinking the Regional, an exhibition focusing on the last century of Maharashtrian art, at the National Gallery of Modern Art in 2015 curated by Dr Manisha Patil.
